Waiver, Participation Agreement & Parent/Guardian Consent

By registering for, attending, or participating in Baptism 2026, I understand that this event is organized and operated by True Life Ministries, Inc. and that TheBaptism.org is the name used to share this event with the public. I choose to participate voluntarily.

I understand that this baptism will take place in the ocean, a natural environment that may include changing conditions such as waves, currents, uneven surfaces, weather changes, and other elements of nature.

I acknowledge that these natural conditions are part of an outdoor baptism experience, and I willingly choose to participate with care, attentiveness, and personal responsibility.

I understand that participation may involve physical activity, standing or walking on sand or rocks, entering shallow or deeper water, standing for periods of time, and being present in a large gathering.

By participating, I accept responsibility for my own well‑being and agree to follow all instructions provided by event leaders, volunteers, and safety personnel.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to release and hold harmless True Life Ministries, Inc., its pastors, leaders, employees, volunteers, members, and event partners from claims related to injury, illness, or property loss that may occur during participation in Baptism 2026.

This agreement does not apply to intentional wrongdoing or gross negligence.

If I am registering or bringing a child under the age of 18, I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of that child.

I give permission for my child to participate in Baptism 2026, including entering the ocean if applicable, and I understand that I am responsible for my child’s supervision unless otherwise directed by event staff.

I also agree to this waiver on behalf of my child, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I confirm that I (and my child, if applicable) am physically able to participate. In the event of an emergency, I authorize event leaders to seek medical assistance if needed, understanding that I am responsible for any related medical expenses.

I agree to participate respectfully and to follow all safety guidance provided by volunteers and leaders. For the safety of everyone, the event team may pause or redirect participation if conditions require.

I understand that photos or videos may be taken during Baptism 2026. I grant permission for these images to be used by True Life Ministries, Inc. for ministry, testimony, or promotional purposes, without compensation.

By registering online, checking an agreement box, or typing my name, I acknowledge that I have read and understood this agreement and that I agree voluntarily. I understand that electronic acceptance serves as my legal signature.
